Coronado Coastal Bedroom

It is always so rewarding when you finish a project you love and Pottery Barn loves it too! We came across our Coastal & Vintage project on the Pottery Barn blog today.
This teen bedroom makeover was a creative adventure! Our first stop for this room was the local thrift shop (and yes we listened to Thift Shop all the way there). We found an amazing vintage dresser and night stands for a steal! Using Annie Sloan chalk paint and a lot of elbow grease we refinished the set in a soft cream color to contrast with our spunky blue walls. We hung pallet shelves on the walls as a homage to the rest of the house (view it here). Using our go to store (Pottery Barn of course) we pulled together beachy accents for the space.
The most rewarding moment is when our final critic viewed her new bedroom and said "I love it! It feels like a spa!". Mission accomplished.
